Riad Sharqi Luminous A Sunny in Marrakech Old Town

Comfortable stay but what was once a beautiful Riad was not maintained and felt dirty Positive: Manger of property was very communicative. Khalid met us to let us in, had tea prepared for us and accommodated our needs for a very early (5am) check out. He checked in with us everyday to see if we wanted breakfast (included). We had one small hiccup with the AC unit and he responded immediately. (In the end it wasn’t an issue and AC worked perfectly). Friendly, accommodating host and housekeeper. Utilized the kitchen a few times and was able to make full meals. Nice to have our own space/privacy in the end we had a comfortable stay. Negative: The riad was once a beautifully renovated place. However it has been left unkept and felt dirty/run down. I don’t mean to say it was dirty (no reference to the housekeeper) but it is in such need of updates that it felt dirty. I was surprised that other reviews hadn’t mentioned this. I was torn of the review to write because the host was very nice and ultimately we had a comfortable stay BUT I feel others should be aware as I think we would have stayed elsewhere if I was aware.

Positive: Riad all’interno della Medina e a soli 1km di distanza dalla piazza principale. Negative: Colazione scarsa, poco abbondante

Buena experiencia Positive: La casa estaba muy bien, ninguna queja Negative: Nos costó un poco encontrarlo porque la dirección te leva a la calle de al lado y la puerta esta un poco oculta. Pero si llamas a Khalid te ayuda sin problemas a encontrar el riad.
